Why are the TREADZ not manufactured in Argentina?
Our company looked closely into solutions to manufacture the TREADZ in Argentina. Unfortunately, the staff quickly discovered that although the price and quality were very much similar to China, Argentinean factories could not cope with varying and large volumes.

How does TREADZ ensure its manufacturers adhere to human rights standards?
CO’S FOOTSTEPS only accepts to work with factories that operate under acceptable labor conditions, where workers are paid fair wages and follow local labor standards. The intermediate company between TREADZ and the manufacturers sends staff that routinely visits the factories with which they work in order to make sure they are maintaining these working standards. Moreover, they closely refer their surveillance to key international standards and key reports & guidance like the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the ILO Convention & Recommendations on child labor, the Labor Resource Guide or the Action Plan on Child labor.

Are TREADZ Fair Trade?
Fair trade certification for footwear does not exist at the moment but we look forward to applying it in the near future.
